１ Developing a new hybrid fiber from eggshell membranes
Our proprietary technology has enabled the development of ‘ovoveil®’, a novel hybrid fiber that integrates 10% hydrolyzed eggshell membrane into regenerated cellulose fiber. (Patent: 7568246)
2 Environmentally Conscious Materials
Eggshell membrane is a biomass resource with approximately 10,000 tons generated every year. By recycling discarded eggshell membranes, ovoveil is an environmentally conscious material that contributes to reducing CO₂ emissions.
3 Gentle on the skin
Clinical studies have confirmed that garments containing 30% ovoveil improve the skin’s barrier function and enhance moisture retention.
4 Smooth Texture that you will want to touch
ovoveil contains eggshell membrane component. By optimizing the fiber structure, yarn, and fabric, a luxurious texture similar to silk or cashmere can be achieved.
