『 The ‘20th World Rose Congress: Fukuyama 2025’ was held in Fukuyama City 』
As part of this event, our company took part in the denim bridal show ‘Blue Wedding’ and
created two haute couture dresses.
Fukuyama City in Hiroshima Prefecture is the region with the highest production volume of
denim fabric in Japan.
The denim used was lightweight ‘Fukuyama Denim’ weighing between 5 and 7 ounces.
The same denim fabric was used for the skirts of both dresses.
For the bustier sections, we used denim featuring a rose pattern created using a
「Indigo “bassen”」 〈インディゴ 抜染 〉 techniqu.
This denim was washed at a manufacturer in Fukuyama City.
