Description

Canvaloop is a material sciences company that is building the backend of the global textile supply chain. Canvaloop uses a proprietary chemo-mechanical process to create fibres and yarns from agro-waste, such as hemp, pineapple, and banana. For Canvaloop, Collaboration is key to our strategy. We partner closely with fashion brands to connect them with fibers and yarns made from agricultural residue. Recognizing the importance of scalability, Canvaloop boasts impressive fulfillment capabilities, with a production capacity of 90 tonnes of fiber per month and a wide range of yarns available from 2-30Ne. We are also rapidly scaling up and would have 300 tons of monthly capacity before the end of 2025. Our long-term vision is to ensure a steady supply of fibers made from agricultural waste and to foster vertical integration for Integrated Textile Manufacturers and Fashion Brands. By doing so, we aim to generate additional income for marginal farmers and transform waste, typically burned, into valuable resources. In essence, Canvaloop stands for sustainability, functional superiority, and tangible value addition to people's lives, leading the way in the sustainable transformation of the textile industry.
