Description
Libeco is a family business founded in 1858 and is the largest flax mill in Belgium. It is ranked among the top three linen manufacturers in Europe. Libeco makes a conscious choice to keep its production based locally and its ecological footprint small. The weaving mill has been certified carbon neutral since 2014. Superior quality is at the core of Libeco’s mission. Libeco linen carries the Masters of Linen®, European Flax® and Belgian Linen™ quality labels. Since 2006, the company has held the title of Belgian Royal Warrant Holder. Libeco specializes in developing and producing linen fabrics for apparel & accessories, upholstery & decoration,... Libeco keeps its focus on fabrics in pure flax, but also supplies other natural fibers like hemp & wool. New qualities are added to the existing collection on a regular basis. Trends and colors from the interior and fashion world are a major source of inspiration. The stock collection contains classic and timeless looks. Personalized colors, structures and finishes can be created as custom development. Technical fabrics such as ‘prepared for print’ and ‘prepared for dye’ are also available.
