The Egyptian Cotton Association is a nonprofit association that exclusively manages, promotes and protects Egyptian cotton and the registered trademark Egyptian Cotton™️, owned by the Egyptian Ministry of Investment and Trade and the Alexandria Cotton Exporters Association. ECA plays a strategic role in promoting the sustainability of Egyptian cotton, working as a partner with Better Cotton Initiative for Egypt and Cotton Connect for initiatives related to regenerative cotton. With an exclusive partnership with Bureau Veritas, ECA preserves the authenticity of Egyptian Cotton products. Our licensing program adopts traceability with total transparency. Its mission is to protect and enhance the identity of Egyptian Cotton™️ throughout the supply chain, keeping its heritage and authenticity alive globally.
