The pleated denim fabric used on the front of the garment is characterised by its lustrous finish and the distinctive weave created by the weft yarn.
The pleating process is carried out in two stages: Crystal Pleats (vertical pleats) and Majolica Pleats (horizontal pleats).
Crystal pleats create beautiful vertical lines, whilst Majolica pleats produce a crinkled texture.
Combining these two types of pleats results in a pleating pattern unlike any other. The fabric is characterised
by alternating shades, with a deep indigo blue on the surface and a pale blue on the reverse.

This is a series of straight-yarn fabrics finished in a light 7.3oz weight, using combed yarns in the warp.
Characterised by the crisp surface texture and elegant lustre typical of fine counts, combined with the
lightweight construction, it creates a sophisticated finish.
CSY 40/40d is used for the weft yarn, and the stretch provided by the 96% cotton and 4% polyurethane blend ensures a comfortable fit.
This elegant and lightweight 7.3oz fabric features a 3/1 right-hand twill weave that creates just the right amount of texture and a classic denim appearance.
