Akcakaya Textile is a family-owned apparel manufacturer based in Izmir, Türkiye, established in 1995. With over 30 years of experience in the textile industry, we support international fashion and lifestyle brands in developing and producing high-quality apparel collections.
Our expertise is primarily focused on knitted and jersey garments, including T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, polos, tops, dresses, skirts, trousers, shorts, activewear, loungewear and childrenswear. We produce both essential styles and more sophisticated garments requiring special dyeing, washing, printing, embroidery and finishing techniques.
Our experienced product development team supports our customers from the initial concept through to bulk production. Our in-house capabilities include product development, pattern making, prototyping and sampling, automatic cutting, sewing, embroidery, quality control and testing. This integrated approach enables us to offer flexibility, competitive lead times and close control throughout the development and production process.
Sustainability is at the core of our business strategy. Akcakaya Textile is a certified B Corp and has extensive experience working with certified and responsible materials such as organic cotton, recycled cotton, recycled polyester, TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal, ECOVERO™ and other innovative fibers. We also have extensive experience with internationally recognized standards including GOTS, OCS, GRS and RCS.
Our approximately 10,000 m² production facility combines traditional textile expertise with modern technology and a continuous commitment to reducing our environmental impact. Our infrastructure includes rainwater harvesting systems and ongoing initiatives to increase the use of renewable energy and improve resource efficiency throughout our operations.
We place strong emphasis on traceability, consistent quality, responsible working conditions and long-term relationships with both customers and suppliers.
Our strategic location in Izmir, at the heart of one of Türkiye’s most important textile regions, gives us access to an extensive network of experienced fabric mills, dye houses, printing facilities and specialized finishing partners. This enables us to provide a responsive and flexible supply chain while maintaining close control over quality and lead times.
