Description
Founded in 1984 by Osman Aydınlı in Denizli, one of Turkey’s most established textile centers, Gamateks began as a small garment workshop and quickly evolved into a fully integrated textile manufacturer through its strong focus on quality, craftsmanship, and reliability. In the early 1990s, the company commissioned its own fabric mill, introducing warping, sizing, and weaving operations within a 12,500 m² facility, and in 1996 expanded further by launching dyeing, printing, and finishing plants, enabling complete in-house production from yarn to finished product. With the 2000s, Gamateks increased its capacity through knitwear production, new machinery investments, and the opening of a modern sewing facility in Dazkırı, achieving consistent quality and agility in responding to rapidly changing market demands through vertical integration. During the same period, the company strengthened its international orientation by establishing design teams in Istanbul and London, followed by offices and showrooms in key global markets such as London, Düsseldorf, and Prato, while expanding its production footprint abroad with the opening of its first factory in Alexandria, Egypt, in 2009 and a second facility in 2018. Alongside its continuous growth, Gamateks has maintained a strong commitment to social responsibility, exemplified by the opening of a sewing facility in Batman in 2014 to support regional employment, and today stands as an eco-friendly, fully integrated textile group with 40 years of experience, an R&D center, and operations spanning 5 countries and 8 locations.
