Description
Natalia Rios is a Brazilian embroidery designer and textile artist who believes in the future of handicrafts. After studying fashion and long experience with crochet, knitting and lace, she traveled to France to become a specialist in the craft she truly loves: embroidery
In Paris, Natalia graduated from the traditional École Lesage where she studied and learned a wide range of handmade techniques for creating exquisite textile surfaces and embroidery for high-fashion
Since 2015, the designer has managed her own embroidery workshop & school in São Paulo, Brazil, where she develops artistic projects, creates bespoke pieces for clients and offers courses and professional training for students. Natalia was the first ambassador of Swarovski in South America and has participated in art exhibitions in Copenhagen, London and Paris, such as Biennale Révélations 2025
Atelier Natalia Rios is specialized in the art of embroidery. Threads, needles, hands and ideas are the raw material for creating sophisticated and exclusive works for fashion, interior design and visual arts
The main techniques used by the Atelier are Lunéville crochet, silk shading, goldwork and featherwork – techniques also practiced by the most famous high-fashion brands
Celebrating 10 years in 2025, the Atelier has developed and collaborated with embroidery projects for international brands such as Cartier, Hermès and Guerlain, as well as renowned Brazilian designers, even reaching the runways of São Paulo Fashion Week
