Capra D’oro Cashmere LLC is the export company representing Mongol Textile JSC, Mongolia’s oldest textile manufacturer, founded in 1934. Based in Ulaanbaatar, we work with Mongolian natural animal fibres, including cashmere, yak down, camel wool, baby camel, and fine Mongolian sheep wool. Our role is to connect Mongolia’s raw fibre resources with international brands through controlled production, responsible sourcing, and export-ready manufacturing. Through Mongol Textile’s industrial base, we support key stages of the textile value chain: fibre sourcing, sorting, dyeing, spinning, knitting, weaving, finishing, inspection, packing, and shipment preparation. The company produces yarns, knitwear, woven accessories, throws, blankets, and selected woven fabrics using 100% natural animal fibres. Our production knowledge is based on long-term experience in processing Mongolian fibres, which require careful control of fineness, staple length, colour variation, handle, and seasonal raw material differences. Cashmere production follows the Mongolian National Standard MNS 6926:2021, which defines quality requirements for Mongolian cashmere products. Internal quality control focuses on fibre composition, micron, length, yarn count, colour consistency, dimensional stability, pilling performance, finishing quality, and final inspection. Our expertise covers both knitwear and woven goods. In knitwear, we manufacture fully fashioned garments and accessories using flat knitting technology across multiple gauges. In weaving, we produce scarves, shawls, blankets, throws, and fabric developments from natural animal fibre yarns. Dyeing and finishing are managed with attention to handle, stability, colour matching, and end-use requirements. Responsibility is part of our operating model. We work to create more value inside Mongolia by keeping processing, manufacturing, employment, and technical knowledge within the country. We continue to develop cooperation with herder communities, improve fibre traceability, and support a more transparent Mongolian textile supply chain. Health and safety are also part of our production responsibility. Factory operations require worker protection, safe machinery use, controlled chemical handling, ventilation, hygiene, and training. We place importance on reducing operational risks while improving consistency across production departments. Mongol Textile JSC operates under ISO 14001 environmental management principles and continues to improve environmental controls, including resource use, waste management, dyeing processes, and responsible manufacturing practices. Capra D’oro Cashmere works as a manufacturing and development partner for brands looking for Mongolian natural fibres with clear origin, technical production capacity, and responsible supply chain development. Our focus is to export products while contributing to a stronger textile ecosystem built on quality standards, worker safety, and international partnership.
