Antonin Mongin is a design researcher (Ph.D.) and a textile artisan-designer based in Paris. His work focuses on transforming rare and unusual fibers into textiles, such as natural or synthetic cut hair, horsehair, and bast fibers (flax, hemp, nettle, etc.). In his studio, he weaves and knits textile materials for haute couture houses, luxury ready-to-wear brands, and interior design.
