Maeba International is a leader in the valorization and recovery of textile leftovers. Our mission is to develop synergies with Italian textile manufacturers and luxury brands, who have the desire to pursue circular economy objectives. We recover the material from italian and europaean fashion brands and manufacturers so that all users in the sector, attentive to the creation of sustainable collections, have the opportunity to be able to use quality products giving them a the value otherwise lost. The recovered fabric makes it possible to reduce the environmental impact by not starting new production and avoiding the problem of the minimum quantity required by manufacturers.
In the latest years, our main activities have been done pursuing more sustainable objectives, with the creation of our environmental certification ReLiveTex®.
In addition to that, in 2022 we became a Benefit Company,deciding to pursue social and environmental objectives. Doing this for us means to create collaborations with non profit organizations and educational entities, and be part of projects that use our fabric to create social empowement or educational skills.
Through the creation of our brand ReLiveTex® we wanted to give a strong message to the fashion world to respect the environment. It was possible to achieve this certification thanks to the transparency and traceability of the internal operations within our company. This certification recognizes that fabrics, accessories and yarns have been removed from processes of devaluation and promoted to new uses.
Speaking specifically about our products, we provide high quality fabrics at competitive prices, counting on more than 35,000 fabric varieties, with a total inventory of over 4 million meters, with many items over 300mt. Our huge variety is composed of many different rolls, from cotton, to wool and virgin wool, linen and silk, and also different kinds for different uses of technical fabrics, composed by polyester and polyamide. Every fabric, considered its final use, is available in different compositions and weights, in order to fulfill as many request as possible.
