MELEK DANTEL was founded in 1997 in Istanbul as a producer and trader of warp knitted all over lace,lace bands and jacquard raschel fabrics for outwear and lingerie. It was relocated to its new factory site with a 9000 m2 closed area in Corlu, 100 km western of Istanbul in 1999.Completed the first major phase of investment on fully electronic jacquard raschel machines produced by Karl Mayer (Germany) by the end of 2007 and reached the capacity of 65 tones of warp knitted fabrics (roughly 1 milllion square meters depending on the avarage linear weight).
Then in year 2010 jacquardtronic and multibar lace machines again from Karl Mayer were purchased and installed meaning an additional all over lace fabrics and bands capacity of 22-25 tones monthly.
Melek Dantel has an expert team which is experienced on lace, corded lace and raschel fabric production. Our products are made of polyamide, poliester/micro poliester, viscose with or without elasthane.
Our brand (MELEK DANTEL) is currently sold to Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, U.K., Belgium, Greece, Ukraine, Poland, Morocco and Tunisia.
Please also note, our company is one of the few Turkish suppliers accredited by global fashion retail group Inditex(Headquartered in Spain) who is the owner of internationally known brands like Zara, Zara Home, Massimo Dutti etc.
Our R&D department is developing 400-500 new designs per year according to the seasonal trends and developments. We are fully focused on current and future trends of ladies outwear, beachwear and lingerie by visiting fashion centers in Europe like Italy, France, Spain, U.K etc. and also by attending well known international exhibitions ( including Primer Vision Paris) as well. Furthermore we are guided by worldwide accepted trend books and international seminers and workshops.
Today, MELEK DANTEL (GORENLER TEKSTIL) which is one of the reputable family-run companies of Turkish fashion industry, continues its activities with 110 employees and a total fabric production capacity of almost 100 tones/month.
All our products are certified in accordance with the Oekotex (14.HTR.50833) standard.
