** Strategic Support to Strengthen the Competitiveness of the French Industry **
CTC plays a vital role in supporting and structuring the French leather industry. Its actions are centered on strategic pillars such as:
- Ecological and energy transition and CSR, guiding companies towards more eco-friendly processes and products.
- Digital transformation and business evolution, enabling adaptation to new technological challenges.
- Industrial sovereignty and resilience, to maintain and strengthen the French ecosystem as a whole and sustain the nation’s production capabilities.
These commitments aim to firmly position France as a key player in the fashion and luxury markets while showcasing its unique expertise.
** Focus on Faire De Lance: Promoting "Made in France" **
Faire De Lance promotes connections between brands and production workshops to highlight made in France. Initiated in 2020, this initiative aims to overcome the challenges of prototyping and production in France while preserving traditional skills. FDL stands out for its advisory role, linking project leaders with French manufacturers while considering each party's specific needs, thus ensuring time savings and effective collaboration. The mapping of skills enables Faire De Lance to offer workshops tailored to project requirements, facilitating the transfer of expertise. By creating synergies among geographically close workshops, FDL builds a robust network of partners. With 80 identified workshops and around thirty regularly involved, Faire De Lance, supported by various federations, contributes to the revival of French manufacturing in the footwear, leather goods, and fashion accessories sectors.
