Our mission
Particularly explained as below: 1) As we has an accurate understanding of the Kasuri technique, we could set up the work process to express the designer's intentions and proceed the manufacturing together with the craftsmen. 2) We can imagine and share the entire process with our craftme , so we could check the progress of each process. In addition, we can share the progress of work also with clients by digital tools. For example, by replacing Kasuri patterns with musical scores, we imagine many people all over the world to create Kasuri patterns like as musical scores so that we Kasuri craftmens could create kasuri fabric as same way as that play musical instruments. The reason why we could realize and succeed in collaborating with overseas designers and artists is that we have established an integrated production system. In addition, we have mastered various Kurume Kasuri techniques such as weftl and warp Kasuri weaving, indigo dyeing, discharge dyeing. That various techniques can be used to express various patterns.
What we offer
What fabrics do you use? "100% cotton: Since cotton is not cultivated in Japan, we depends on imported material. Cotton yarn is procured from Japanese spinning companies. Our productive lot is small. So only the necessary amount is purchased. We also confirm with the spinning company about the cultivation area of raw materials. Organic cotton, sea island cotton, etc. are also used.
