Description
REO-ECO is a high-tech recycling company focused on environmental innovation, specializing in the advanced recycling of plastic and textile waste. Today, REO-ECO manages a fully vertical in-house production—from the collection of used plastics and textiles to the manufacturing of high-quality recycled polyester (rPET) yarns.
The company operates with two complementary recycling technologies:
– a mechanical process, used to transform plastic waste (such as bottles and post-industrial polyester) into recycled chips and yarns,
– and a biological process, based on enzymatic recycling, which enables textile-to-textile regeneration, even from complex or blended materials.
This dual approach positions REO-ECO at the forefront of low-impact, circular textile solutions.
Thanks to this fully vertical in-house production, including raw material processing, polymerization, spinning, and finishing, REO-ECO ensures traceability, consistent quality, and a significant reduction in emissions and production costs.
Its proprietary technologies enable the large-scale production of ultrafine rPET chips and yarns (≤15D), unlocking new performance applications and strengthening its position as a leader in premium recycled polyester.
REO-ECO operates a Corporate Technology Center and a Municipal Engineering Center, and has been recognized as a “Specialized and Innovative Enterprise of Jiangsu” and a “Green Factory.” The company is certified to GRS, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
The global brand REO-ECO is active in over 20 countries and works with leading international partners including The North Face, Timberland, Gap, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Inditex, and Kiabi.
Looking ahead, REO-ECO continues to invest in low-emission, science-based innovation, improving its recycling technologies and expanding the use of recycled yarns in high-demand sectors like home textiles, durable workwear, automotive interiors, and many more innovative applications. Through technology, REO-ECO aims to accelerate the circular economy and build a more responsible textile future.
