Lowpact Textile Technology Company is the home of IndiDye® Natural Color, a high performance, low impact natural plant dye solution available in yarns and fabrics. The biodegradable natural plant dyes are made from renewable resources based on by-products and waste and are used in fibre- and top dyeing processes for mélange and wool yarns, denim yarns and fabrics, and fabric dyed silk, nylon and lace. IndiDye® can be combined with ReSilkose™ GRS recycled silk and spun using SoftSpin™ technology for premium softness without adding chemical softening agents. IndiDye® melange yarns are available in different constructions and blends. For a premium soft handfeel without adding softening agents, the yarns can be spun using SoftSpin™ spinning technology. The unique soft hand feel is achieved through a mechanical process and unlike chemical agents that wash out, this softness is part of the yarn and fabric construction and will last through wear and care. IndiDye® wool yarns and fabrics provides class leading color performance for natural plant dyes. The IndiDye® Natural Color dyes can be applied to wool fibres and tops for semi-worsted, worsted, and woolen yarns. The ultimate natural fibre combined with beautiful natural colors. What is not to love? IndiDye® Natural Indigo denim is dyed using our eco-responsible natural indigo sourced from Isatis Indigotica or "dyers woad", one of the most important traditional Chinese medicinal plants. Isatis Indigotica is farmed for the roots, Ban-Lan-Gen (Radix Isatidis), which has been used in China and other Asian countries for its antiviral and anti-inflammatory effects for thousands of years. The leaves that remain after the harvesting of Ban-Lan-Gen are usually waste, but we provide the farmers additional income from their crops by utilizing the waste leaves. As we are utilizing waste as the raw material for our IndiDye® Natural Indigo, the environmental impact of our natural indigo denim offerings is significantly lowered. Silk dyed using IndiDye® natural dyes is a luxuriously natural alternative, and Lowpact offers both organic and ReSilkose™ recycled silk. ReSilkose™ is beautiful and strong and not distinguishable from virgin silk in look and feel. It is truly a responsible and attractive alternative. ReSilkose™ is also ideal for enhancing other materials' strength and feel in technical blends without adding synthetic fibres or chemicals. Introducing IndiDye® Natural Color nylon we are entering a new era for intimates, offering natural plant dyed recycled- and bio-based nylon fabrics, lace and garments. The colors and shades available are specifically tailored for intimates with classic and sensual aesthetics. Our natural dyes are especially well suited for next-to body applications making it the perfect match for intimates. We also dye nylon garments in a garment dyeing process very well suited for yoga and sportswear.
