A selection of the best companies in creative fashion
Première Vision Paris presents a complete offer delivered by spinners, weavers, accessory manufacturers, textile design studios, tanners and garment makers. The exhibitors are workshops, small and medium-sized businesses, and large industrial groups.

The selection criteria for exhibiting guarantee the presence of the best creative fashion companies and their synergy.

All are selected by a committee of international professionals. Several criteria, identical for each profession, are taken into account: creativity and quality of the collections, ability to renew to offer new developments each season, know-how, financial reliability, production capacity… The selection committee also makes sure that the company wishing to exhibit will fit in coherently with the other participants.

In total, for three days, about 1,200 professionals will exhibit at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, gathered in five halls.

Coming from more than 50 countries, the exhibitors present their latest developments with strong creativity.
The decoding of trends and colors
Première Vision’s fashion information is part of its DNA

The challenge is to translate what fashion will be – its colors, its materials, its touch… – 18 months before it is visible to everyone in the stores, in the form of finished products.

To achieve this goal, a dedicated internal team works in synergy with fifteen or so international professionals.

This creative union gives birth to a panoramic vision of all the professions that make up fashion and which will enable the development of fashion information according to a unique methodology.

Each season, the Première Vision fashion team builds the main orientations and trends (colors, materials, etc.) with international experts, before sharing them with the entire creative chain (manufacturers, buyers, stylists, media, etc.) in the form of information seminars, trend spaces – forums – at the show, or online.

Commitment to a more responsible and innovative fashion from its creation
Sustainability and technology

2 key subjects on which the Première Vision Group has been positioning itself for several years now to accompany the creative fashion industry in its transformation.

In 2015, it launched the Smart Creation study and information platform in order to promote the responsible approaches of its exhibitors and highlight a new generation of values.

At the same time, the Wearable Lab, launched in 2017 for the February editions, explored the innovations driven by the advent of new technologies and digitalization for a connected and intelligent fashion.

From February 2020, the two spaces merge and become a single Smart Creation Area, to be discovered at each edition, in February and September.

An invitation to discover the new eco-responsible and technological innovations that are already industrialized and exploitable, which are the fashion of today and will be the fashion of tomorrow. A strong and necessary evolution to meet the needs of international fashion industry players – industrial exhibitors and fashion and accessories brands.

Eco-responsibility infuses the different professions of Première Vision Paris

This logic of responsible creation applies from the so-called creation phase because 80% of the environmental impact of a product is at stake from its design.

All the upstream creative fashion sectors are thus concerned. And because the actors who innovate can also be located in other areas of the show, Première Vision Paris offers a trail that brings together exhibitors identified as having an exemplary responsible approach by the Première Vision teams – the result of in-depth work carried out over several years.

Analysis of economic trends thanks to a privileged observer's position
The IFM Première Vision Chair: taking the measure of creative fashion.

In 2016, the group created the IFM Première Vision Chair with the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM), with the mission of analyzing the evolution of the activity of companies producing high value-added materials.

Each year, it publishes the Première Vision-IFM Barometer, which provides information on economic trends in the creative fashion sector based on an observation and evaluation index of the activity of the world’s creative industries (fabrics and leathers).

It is established in comparison with the reference index of world production of fabrics and leathers, all market levels combined, published by the United Nations.

The studies carried out by the IFM’s Economic Observatory within the framework of the Chair give rise to dedicated seminars on Première Vision Paris.
Inspiring content to keep up with industry news all year round and decipher the season
Each edition, Première Vision Paris fully plays its role as a catalyst for the creative fashion industry with a cutting-edge program

Conferences, digital talks, to better anticipate the future challenges of the sector and its mutations…exhibitions, ceremonies, cocktails...to get inspired and share moments of relaxation with other industry players.

Throughout the year, Première Vision offers you inspiring content to decode the sector and the season in the Première Vision Magazine: Trends, eco-responsibility, show news, markets and know-how…
An unwavering support for young creation
Since 2011, Première Vision has been a partner of the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Fashion Accessories in Hyères, which is held every year at the end of April at the Villa Noailles. At the end of the competition, a jury of prominent industry professionals awards three prizes for fashion, including the Première Vision Grand Prix du Jury

The first step in the partnership is to put the 10 Fashion finalists and the 10 Accessories finalists chosen by the Festival Jury in contact with the exhibitors who will supply them with the raw materials. Yarns, fabrics, accessories, and manufacturing … All these precious resources help the finalists produce the collections they will present at the Festival in the spring.

To this end, the finalists are invited to the February edition of Première Vision Paris, where they benefit from privileged access to exhibitors from around the world.

Following the results announced by the Hyères Festival jury, the winner of the Première Vision Grand Prix du Jury is awarded €20,000.
Protection of creative work: Copyrights and intellectual property
Fifteen years ago, Première Vision was the first trade show to organize and finance a framework of advice and action for exhibitors and their buyers. Première Vision takes a strong stand regarding copyrights and the theft of intellectual property.
